The Berlin artist Valerie Otte shows in her sculptural work sensitive portraits of people in very quiet moments. In her works, the souls and feelings of the characters become almost tangible. The studied sculptor gives her bronze sculptures a very special expressiveness thanks to a very freely modelled surface.
Otte's characters, "Martha" and "Paul", could be brothers and sisters, but each child also has its own expression of character.
